AWFL's Best Rivalries

As some of you may know, AWFL is a spin off of a league started in the M15 cycle, which means that our core group of guys are now going into their 4th cycle playing together. Over this time, some rivalries have naturally developed. We are going to take a deeper look into those rivalries. Feel free to comment what rivalries you think YOUR team will develop as AWFL begins the M18 cycle!

GreatnessDC vs Seranrap
This rivalry got it's start in the M17 cycle when Seran was the Saints and Greatness controlled his beloved Falcons. Greatness has long had a stranglehold on the NFC South, winning it in just about every user season I can recall. Seran quickly put him on notice with a huge win in season 1 but Greatness had the last laugh as he went on to win the Super Bowl that year. Now, these two are in control of two teams who look poised to be NFC powerhouses the entire cycle. They will no doubt battle it out again this cycle, likely with a lot on the line.

RFF vs Arlen
These are two of the more talented users in the entire league and they spent all of M17 battling it out in the AFC South. Neither one of them has quite figured out how to beat the other consistently (I believe they were very close to .500 through the cycle) which means we are in for some great battles this year. While these two teams may not be as talented as the Cowboys and Falcons, they have to be the early favorites in the AFC so I expect we will see some huge games coming up between these two.

Huskers8128 vs BigK44
This is the perfect storm of rivalries. These two teams are natural real life rivals and we have two owners who are passionate fans of their respective teams. Add in the fact that both owners are very similar in terms of stick skills and we have perhaps AWFL's most intense rivalry. These two have spent two full cycles now battling for supremacy in the NFC North. Last cycle, this division was so close that it came down to a week 17 battle between these two teams TWICE. Packers/Vikings is always a must watch game. Who will get the upper hand in Madden 18?

Automatik Vs Sagebus
Another natural rivalry that has been fueled by these two teams having the same owners for the 2nd cycle in a row. Auto is a Broncos fan IRL so his hatred for the Black Hole is real. This was probably the 2nd most hotly contested division every single season in the M17 cycle, and it only gets harder adding two AWFL OG's in RaiderRed and Sir Felgar.

Yeah don't forget Auto/Raider met in a Super Bowl in M15 and now will be fighting in the same div. There's definitely some history there.
