Stop the Presses: There will be no PFL 2K7

I've spoken w/ 2K Sports and you can take it to the bank, there will be no PFL 2K7. They are working hard on all their 2K7 games at this time and PFL 2K7 is NOT one of them. Sorry to burst the bubble for some of you.

Maybe 2K8? We'll have to wait and find out.

Never really expected it to happen anyway... but I'd like to see 2K5 backward compatible sometime in the near future.

Oh, and not that this applies to you folks, but I've always been vexed by people who are in such a hurry to deliver bad news.

I don't think it's as much being in a hurry to deliver bad news as it is in a hurry to settle the tired debate that's been raging for 2 years now. "Will there be a 2K6? 2K7?", etc. Next year it will be the same thing, but people are just taking a rumor and building it up so far that it's almost comical.

The reply by some of the die-hards will probably read something like:

"Of course they'd tell you that, you're a game site. They are probably working on it secretly and unveil it right at Christmas!!! 2K R0X0RZZ!!!!"

...or something similar.

I wish 2K had taken that attitude. It's been 2 years, and this the first time they say anything about football. Bad PR.

Yeah if 2K isn't making another football game then MS needs to make 2K5 BC for sure.
