Jerry Rice best cover man??

i'm saying it now i think "Jerry Rice will be the best cover man Yet"! He was very open and cool about talking about the game in the press video! most cover man are smug or just bs'in as if they are just there to collect the check. Jerry has passion as if he's really going to suit up its funny but very refreshing. Well thats my opinion. Who do you think is the best cover man?

I still think they should put about five or six different legends on the cover and not just use one guy.

There are three important aspects to being the cover athlete for a game (at least to my knowledge):

- Being on the cover of the game (which may attract those that see the cover only)

- Being a lead athlete in motion-capturing for animations

- Being a spokesperson for the game



Jerry Rice satisfies these three aspects quite well, especially the last one (as we've seen through videos so far). He's very welcoming and optimistic, and he is very well known. Also, there were a few receiving problems with the last game, especially when not going into the right (or desired) animation; hopefully Rice will do enough to get those addressed.

I think he is a very good choice, though there are 239 other legends to look at that have very compelling arguments for being a cover athlete as well.

True but in most circles there is very little debate that he is the best to ever play the game at the wide receiver position. Some even consider him to be the best football player to ever play the game, but I think that’s a stretch. At so many other positions there is alot of debate of who is the best, but almost none at WR. Jerry Rice is the G.O.A.T...

rice is the best @ getting open. however, i would guess he is still strong to quite strong in coverage...
