Even if this is an upgraded version of 2K5....

We still should be happy with the results. Perfect example, NBA 2k6 for the next gen, they use the same engine as the previous gen and just polished it, now look at it. Look at Madden for the next gen when it 1st came out, people were not satisfied with it because they revamped the whole engine, amoung other things. I think some of us were expecting a revamp of the models. I personally will just wait till gameplay videos come out and voice my opinion.

Yeah, if it's NFL 2K5 in HD with legends and they fixed the d-line glitch, QB spy and tightened up the DB AI, I'll be playing the game until whenever their next football game comes out.

I am just happy with having an alternative choice from the 2K Sports crew. We need to count our blessings and be happy because we got what we asked for. A more polished 2K5, how could that possibly be so bad...

Re: Even if this is an upgraded version of 2K5....

I'm sick of Madden. To me, its all about the gameplay and presentation. In my opinion - 2K 'gets it' in those areas, and EA 'don't get it'. I hate how slow and mechanical Madden feels. I love how smooth and human-like 2K5 played and felt. If APF plays like 2K5 did, with the same level of fluidity, I will certainly not buy Madden. I am an NFL fan, so its hard to say I'm not getting Madden - but I'd rather put the $59.99 I would spend on Madden on a jersey. It would last longer and probably has better gameplay and presentation than Madden anyway.

I think a lot of people are flipping out because they are afraid this may be it for the 2k folks if it doesn't sell well.

I am "flipping-out" because the graphics actually look worse. The player models look skinny as well as the numbers on their jerseys.

I don't mind if All-Pro was an update of 2k5 graphics... but right now it looks like the models have taken a step back.

That is what folks are complaining about.
