Ok, i think that 2ksports really need to create a mindblowing demo for people to see. This includes the halftime shows as well.

If they do not put out a really great demo.

Then there is a chance that this game will not sell much.

I feel that the DEMO is the crucial marketing strategy for 2ksports to get people to buy the game.

A bad Demo would be a disaaaaster.

I dont even need a demo, im sold. The videos and playing that other demo made my decesion alot easier

For hardcore gamers yea people will be buying this.

But for the casual gamers, they need to put a really great one to beat the other football games.

From all the gameplay footage I've seen so far, I don't care if there is a Demo or not. 2K has always made a great football game and there is no reason for me to think this game will not be great as well. There are a lot of 2k football fans out there and this game should sell just fine. I predict once the game launches and people who are not sure about the game see how good it is , sales will go up even more.

I don't know. A demo is needed to actually be able to "feel" how it plays instead of "see" how it plays for me to buy it.

I don't think the game's future hinges on a demo. If the game itself were some mind-blowing experience and the demo were able to display some of that then maybe, but it's not going to be. I think if it's good it'll benefit far more from word of mouth - a fun demo of course would only help.

But if it's bad (I think MLB2K7's demo doesn't reflect the overall quality of the game well, for example) I don't know that it hurts it that much
