Bad move (Auto Strafe online)

Auto Strafe is a pre game option and I think in ranked games it MUST be on.

You can't turn it off for yourself within a game

Hmm...that sucks..if it is really bad though, I would imagine that is something 2k can patch fairly easy luckily.

So, what exactly does this do? Your player automatically goes into strafe position when the ball is snapped? No way to run freely after the snap?

That's what I'm wondering. I don't remember if 2K5 had it or what it caused to happen if it did. Like Methlab said though, if everyone hates it, they'll probably patch the online settings to stop requiring it pretty quickly.

My question as well....I remember having to hold down the left trigger to strafe in 2k5 (haven't played since October)....if that changes, it would certainly discourage me from trying to play coverage at the snap.

settings carried over to online, i.e., if you turned off auto-strafe in your offline settings then it would be off when you played online. Can someone test this to see if it's true?
