Summary of Good vs Bad Thus Far??

for those who have a feel for the pros and cons mentioned today thus far, could you PLEASE just bullet a quick listing (vs. everyone having to read 300'ish messages on the Impressions/Questions thread)??

ok...i'll start this myself, just from what i've read on 2k forums and on this forum today:

Good

• overall gameplay is nice / 2k5 upgraded
• Animations
• Atmosphere / stadiums
• realistic football

Bad

• game speed slow
• WRs slow
• can only edit created players-no editing Legends/Generic guys, not even jerseys
• cannot shift D line right, left, middle, out....like in 2k5

others out there??

well the dline shifts were taken out b/c of glitches online from 2k5? never really played it online someone mentioned that though

Pros
-There is actually a pocket presence, I never really got that feeling before, you can actually see the pocket and when to step up or back.

I am a long time EA player, new 2k player.

I find the speed more realistic, although, I did bump it up to fast. It seems like you need to throw the ball before the WR is open, just like in real life.

But yeah, I have yet to find any cons. This game keeps amazing more and more every snap.

Actually saw a FS come up lame (pull his hamstring running) in the middle of the play. WOW.

i honestly just realized how much i missssssed 2k football....i just played the best game of football in two and a half years......came down to the wire and i intercepted a batted ball by lem barney on my twenty and took it to the house.....i can still feel the adrenaline pumping

as for pros

gameplay (vague yes, but just how the game emulates fball....its realistic....aside from the dominance of mike ditka)

replayability....i am going to play the hell out of this game....it sucha fresh idea and has so many roster combos and uniform/ team possibilities

havent played online yet but its 2k so im sure its gonna be awesome

the characters are true reincarnations of their real life counterparts
their strrengths and weakness are the same

all around fun game to play


cons

game speed is a little slow but bump it up to fast and everything is perfect

tapping A to accelerate grrrrrrr

d line positioning removed

passing is almost tooooo realistic (taking a bit of fun out of it)

thats all i got....and these are petty
