My manual says SQUARE is the dive button and "X" is for speed.

I think he's playing on PS3 ODogg. X is equivalent to A on the 360 controller, which is sprint.

Okay, let's get this right X on the PS3 is Sprint. X on the 360 is dive. SO in fact PS3 users would be pressing X in the open field instead of A like us 360 users do. Let's clear this confusion up right now.

Re: Lots of Daylight and I throw myself in the air?

Well, it looks like it must be related to the Sixaxis motion because I could not get Earl to go up and over in practice mode. And, all I did was jack-hammer "X".

I have the sensitivity down to 0 for offline games which is why I can't duplicate this lunging thing.

Problem is that I can't turn off the Sixaxis for the online games.

That leads me to 3 questions:

1. What the heck is the Sixaxis motin actually for in this game?

2. Why isn't everyone with a Sixaxis having this problem, or are you?

3. I'll bet not a single Xbox'er has this issue, right?

I think the sixaxis is supposed to make the game more fun on the PS3 than the 360. That's what it was supposed to do with Madden.
