I Hate All Pro Football 2K8........

I like both games, but NCAA has brought me much more enjoyment over the last week. I will continue to play both and will buy Madden as well.

WE should start a club because I am in the same boat as you Sage... The game makes it hard to enjoy a pretty good game with NCAA because APF just feels like football should feel

I enjoy them both but the controls are killing me...i keep squeezing the trigger to speed burst...i wish i could change control in 2k!

Actually I configured my ncaa controls to match apf.

See, I knew it couldn't have just been me. I saw the light yesterday after watching those Colts/Jags videos. The engine that NCAA/Madden runs on just does not seem realistic anymore after you play APF. And I'm just talking about football fundamentals in general (drop backs, route running, etc. )

I agree for the most part, but the inability to do almost anything user-controlled in APF is killing me. The only thing I feel the EA games are doing better is NOT having as many animations when the ball is in flight. I know that's actually a bad thing, but the fact that I can break on the ball manually in NCAA and get the pick gives a sense of accomplishment. When I try it in APF my guy goes thru a 3 second animation that pulls me out of the play. Otherwise APF is outstanding, playing offense is awesome, especially because the fade route actually works.

Madden and NCAA have the depth I'm looking for, but they dont sell the illusion of the actual sport of football like APF does. As all serious football gamers say, if only we could combine both............

i bought both and my initial impressions of NCAA was "wow! it seems like EA has stepped up alot, im going to enjoy this game this year".....but since then i havent been able to stop playing APF. sooner or later im gonna get around to NCAA though LOL.
