I just threw the ball 90 yards in the air

With Len Dawson.

Down 4 with 1 second left online on the 18 yard line......hail mary play, dropped back, waited, waited, rolled out to the right, used the QB evade to duck a defensive end, wound up and hurled the ball 90 yards in the air to the goal line or one yard deep where four of my receivers are waiting with a few defenders. At least three of my guys got their hands on the ball but none came down with it in the endzone.

Amazing

And on a side note, I've lost three games in a row in the last 30 seconds. Incredibly frustrating.

Re: I just threw the ball 90 yards in the air

the hail mary actually can work in this game though. Instead of a WR magically catching it in a crowd, the ball gets volleyed around until a DB swats it down or someone gets it.

I saved a nice replay of a hail mary that dropped into a crowd, got tipped, bounced off the knee of a DB, and went into the hands of one of my WR's for the TD. It was amazing, and could have been real. No ball teleporting into hands, going through anyone, or anything like that. I watched the replay like 8 times.

Also, it's not like they are Uncle Rico in his prime, but many professional QB's have shown they can throw footballs 70-80 yards or more in competition drills. They just can't do it very accurately, hence the name of the play.

how did you use the QB evade? Is it the right stick?

Yep I agree, using the Hail Mary play in this game can actually be pretty fun.

In my last game I threw one up with Cunningham and it was bobbled by 4-5 players till it was caught but out of bounds.

yes the right stick...very effective when a rush is coming from the blind side but then you will get nailed by the on coming rush from the front
