Run After the Catch / Punt Return / Open Field

I ran back a kick on online recently it was off a lateral though, but the very next play the other guy ran back a kick without any laterals.

But I do think the players are a tad bit too slow, Speed players in the open field get caught too much.

I got rocket returning kicks and when he gets past the first wave, he is gone. IMO,kick off returns are a tad too easy on all-pro difficulty.

i've had more success on kickoff than punts. as far as the WRs go, success varies. the AI does a awesome job in coverage and open field tackling but if you can make that first guy miss or break the tackle like in real football, it usually means big RAC yards.

Returns are awesome on this game in my limited experience (just got it yesterday). I was able to break a KR with a generic WR by just gunning for the corner.. I broke the first tackle by just tapping A when he grabbed me and I was able to outrun everyone else. I've also returned a PR with Gale Sayers by just running for the corner -- the really speedy guys can beat most of the scrubs that are on the coverage team.

As far as YAC, I tend to get it when I make a move quickly after the catch. It is much easier against human opponents, but a quick spin or juke after a catch can make the defender fly right past you. A big strong TE like Shannon Sharpe is great for YAC also, because he can normally break the first tackle, which is normally when WRs get brought down.

Try Charley Taylor. I have had a lot of success setting things up with him.
