The Depth Chart/Sub/Roster screens are driving me insane

Are these really buggy or is it just me?

Last night I had the generic players that I wanted on my team. Today, they are completely different!

I try to sub players in at certain positions and save it, then when I go into games they are still not where they are supposed to be. Sometimes online they are where I want them, the next game they will be in their old position. I have no idea why....either I am saving something wrong or this game is just ****ed up.

It's driving me insane right now. I go into the edit team screen, click through to where I choose my generics, choose pocket passing QB....it shows a black guy and a white guy. I save it. I go to my depth chart and sub in the guy I had last night, who appears to be back on my team. I go into a game and he isn't there, and there is some scrub named Bly who wasn't even on my depth chart at all.

Also you can't seem to sub in legends on special teams plays.

I love this game, I just want to get my roster and depth chart the way I want it to be and play. Unfortunately this is impossible apparently. I want Jack Tatum to return kicks, how many times do I have to sub him in that position and save it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??

i was waiting for this to come up. Also, I find a few generics that I'm happy with, but the yellow in my uniform is too yellow. I go edit and my generics are replaced. I've got to learn them all over again.

PLEASE Tell me I'm doing something wrong.

Yea man I think we are screwed. 2k's strong point has never been getting stuff like this right. Guess you gotta get your team completely set before playing.

Yes, they are. You just have to sub people where you want them. If I move my DT in a 4-3 to the left from his normal spot on the right it makes him a backup in the 3-4. Same with the ILB. This is irritating, but 2K5 had problems with this as well. Like the fact that you couldn't sub starters into special teams.
