Let us play as the CPU pre-set teams. Couldn't this be done with a patch?

I think it was great to select a team and re-do it numerous times to get it the way I wanted. But now I just want to play a few exbition games without selecting my teams and all that stuff. In madden and NFL 2k5, even though I'm a bronco fan, I would play a few games with other teams to change it up.

The only option in APF is to play your user created teams.

I don't see why it would be so hard to let us play as the CPU pre-set teams. This could and should be updated. I know VC has already disowned this game but we payed $60 for basically a game that let's you play as 1 team.

Yes, this was an absolutely stupid decision by VC. Why we cannot play as any of the pre-made teams in Quick Play is beyond me and just seems like an unnecessary restriction in a game that should aim to be as non-restrictive as possible.

This was mentioned in a few other topics.

Another option would have been to replace the pre-set teams with our own created teams. Then we would be able to play with more than just 8 teams.

The only reason we cannot use the pre-set teams is because a number of them do not have 2 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze, and people would only play with the Legends or Minuteman team.

I agree bad decision, thank goodness it is a great game.

Yeah, I can see not allowing you to play with the preset teams in Season Mode. It is rather weird that you can't easily play with created teams though... I think that you can start a game, then switch sides, so that you are playing against your own team. Similarly, I think you can set the system to play against itself, as CPU controlled teams then take over one of them... Lemme check to make sure... OK... My Xbox 360 locks up on the "Loading Roster..." point at the title screen. Not good. Not good.

Not really needed though since you can have the CPU select your entire team for you. You just have to pick a logo and be done. If you have autosave off, this team will be removed when you turn the game off.

Tons of decisions like this that just baffle the mind and make you say "well that's stupid."

As much as Madden has things like this, there are a ton of things in APF that make me wonder how the two are any different. Both titles have little glaring flaws that really keep them from shining.

The game is great! If i want to play with a friend, we have to pick the same team? I love thsi but i am bored playing the same team!!!!!!
