In order to sign up,

1.) Go to our website and register yourself
2.) Login then go to the Forums on the site
3.) Go into the Tournaments thread and post a response in Tournament of
Champions Entry thread that includes
-Your user ID
-Your exact current rank
-your feedback percentage

and that is it.

The website was designed as a resource for team creation, everything from historic playbooks to current playbooks to historic teams to stategy articles and tips from top players. We currently have about 5% of the content we hope to have at the end of the coming year, so it is definitely a work in progress. We know that other people have attempted to create such sites, however, rather than an imitation of another site, www.2kfootballstrategy.com was conceived independently as a resource for 2K gamers, and my friend Valdarez has taken the idea under his wing and really developed into something we are both very proud of.

We want to emphasize that

1.) we have tried to make all the information as easily accessible and streamlined as possible. By using a drop-down box menu system you can easily access any content on the site from the home page without clicking through link after link.

2.) the site is intended as a community wherein ideas are shared. It is not just us telling you what we know, but rather we are pooling our own knowledge with that of other great sim players, and providing a forum where we can all learn and get better. Thus if you want to submit a strategy article or write up a piece about a certain aspect of the game, that is what we are all about!!!

3.) the whole point of the site is that it will always be growing and that we will always be adding content. Say you wanted to create your favorite current or historic NFL team. What if you could go to a site where all the information you needed to create each player was there instantly available- height, weight, number, abilities, a section on how to make his face, what equiptment he wears. Then on a team level you could instantly see how to make their uniform, with or without a code, and also what playbook they have- this includes both what types of offensive and defensive formations your team uses, what kind they don't use, and also what types of plays they run and what kinds they never run. This would all be gathered meticulously from actual game film. That is our vision for this site- a constantly growing resource, and we have several other things in the works such as playbook matrices, a large historic player index, and much more.

News - The latest news concerning the game as well as new additions to the website.

Strategy - In-depth strategies for offensive and defensive plays, player creation, and team building to support a particular type of play style.

NFL Simulation - Rules and Guidelines, a complete list of every NFL player ranked by Gold, Silver, or Bronze for every 2007 NFL team along with their Uniform Codes.

Game Information - Complete list of controls, emblem descriptions by position, alphebetically, or matrix styled, frequently asked questions, a Tip of the Week (starts this week!), APF2k9 WishList, Videos, and a host of other game related information!

Tournaments & Leagues - Tournaments will real prizes! Leagues that are as true to NFL play as you can get online!
