This game is a bargain even at $60.00

I never really played games online and I have already logged more than 300 with APF.

It becomes an addiction. Tinkering with the legends and finding which generics fit your team is another great challenge.

I agree. Before this game, I had literally never played a game online. I've played over 350 on this game alone, and I'm still not even close to tired of it. That's nothing short of amazing.

By the way, sorry I had to jet yesterday, SL--had to log some family time. We'll do a rain check.

How is the single player season mode. If I don't play online and enjoy playing seasons. Are the stats realistic to NFL season stats? I actually don't mind not having a franchise since there are superstars in the game, you are not really trying to build up a team to play a season. Plus I hate dealing with the advertising and pricing of some franchise modes.

I really enjoy football games, but wasn't too impressed with Madden.

In my experience, the stats aren't really going to be totally in line with NFL type stats, though you can get close. If your team isn't built to handle the Americans, you're going to get some ridiculous points dropped on you, period. That said, it plays out well for what it is because you've got to strategically make your choices about what kind of team you want to have, and you have to live with the matchups that you create.

The AI is remarkably adaptive, so you have to vary your playcalling; it's one of the cooler features of the season mode. And the weather effects are great.

Are all the teams randomly created or is just your team. Or are there teams that are good and bad and that doesn't change in different seasons.
