Upside Down L Blitz angle = STUPID

This is pretty dumb. The pass rushers always go on this upside down L rush to the QB. Even if the edge is there and all they need to do is crash inside they always do the upside down L. Straight annoying. Not only do the outside backers pause on the outside rush but the upside down L makes them take that much longer to get to the QB. The 3-4 is pretty sucky in this game and that's one of the big reasons why. You have to have star defensive linemen instead of OLB's. Pretty bass ackwards. It's been in the game since 2k4 though so ...

Even point A to point B is too hard for VC. No wonder they're going out of business.

I had a game against Freak last night. His point A to B was pretty vicious, LOL.
I did not get adjusted to it till the last drive of the game and even then I had to take alot of chances. He was getting MADDEN like heat on my QB.

I will agree though that the angles the LB's take sometimes is baffling. I can't make any sense of it.

Well his point A to Point B is vicious because he's doing it. I played him. It's interesting though. Sunday night I beat him, but last night got owned by that blitz. I guess the thing is, he's blitzing and we are relying on the A.I blitzers. The A.I blitzers will do any and everything they can to take the longest route to the QB. Actually I described it wrong, it's not an updside down L it is an L and backwards L. It is an L from the left and backwards L from the right. Even A.I guys that come up the middle do the same thing depending on what side of the Center they are on.

Also I have some video, Why does the OLB wait until the Dlineman is engaged to move? One more thing and I'm done. The HB if he is man up on a linebacker will always get to the flats and get a big gain because the MLB just sits there while the HB is swinging to the flats. It's like he is reading linemen while the back is already outside getting ready to receive the swing pass. The thing is even if I control him it makes me do this stupid pause and let's the back get out front. I read a play in our game the other night, I knew he was gonna throw it to the flat. On the snap I tried to move and it would not let me move at all. It made sure he was able to get out in front on that swing pass then it would let me move. Pretty crappy.

Great post. The main problem that I had that it been in this game for a very long time. I run a 3-4 and olb pass rusher is almost nill. I tried various solutions and none worked.

This has been a problem with 2k football for a while now. I think it has something to do with the nuetral zone infraction penalty. The higher it is the more the secondary (linebackers, Safeties and corners) won't get an extra jump at the snap.

However there is no way to solve it cause if you lower the nuetral zone penalty slider, they will start to get better jumps but then they will at times line up offsides and not get called.

I'll test it out some more, the penalty sliders solve alot of issues in the game but not enough unfortunately.

I think it is worth a try.

I agree the penalty sliders do a lot. Turn off all the interference sliders, late hit, roughing qb, etc. Defense plays 10x better. Problem is online playing. Can't adjust anything with people.
