Safe to come back?

I loved this game for 6 months, but ended up being driven away by a long, bad rash of online players. Some used 7 foot CAP wr's and threw hail mary to him every play, others took earl and ran the same goaline offense every single play knowing they'd break a tackle and get at least 4 yards every play (no matter what I tried or anyone on the APF forums could suggest), and then there's those that literally glitch the system to somehow freeze the game.

Do those players still rule online? Is there a healthy OS contingent still playing?

If you play on 360, you can hit me up any time. I get into ruts where I don't want to play this game either because of how online players get. I just don't get what compels people to do whatever it takes to win, even if it means taking advantage of things that are broken in the game or playing the game in an unrealistic manner--I've played several 3 and 4-wide types this week and that's left a bad taste in my mouth.

I really like the games I get in with urlacher51 and buddy knox from here, and catchcatch22 as well when we get a good connection--all those guys will give you a good, clean game. Same for grunt.

On 360, the giant caps are now limited to 6'6" (i think), over powered backs like earl were toned down, strafe, and a few glitches were patched a while back. Earl is now realistic. Not sure if the PS3 got the patch.
