Stubblefield was a good one, as was Bryant Young, his partner in crime in SF.

Another SF guy from that era would be nice to have: William Floyd. We only have 5 FB in the game, and Floyd was an interesting mix of size, running ability, and pass-catching ability.

A defender I'd been thinking about perhaps as a silver-tier guy is Seth Joyner. I remember him as one of the elite coverage backers in his years in Philly, but he also had 52 sacks.

Eric Davis was a decent corner for the Niners back in the 90's. Great athlete!

I really wish that they could just get the rights for the entire NFL Alumni group so anyone who ever played a down in the NFL could be in the game. Then we could organize them by teams and really get those all-time squads back together.

Another FB, and another Seahawk...

John L. Williams - During a five year stretch from 88-92, rushied for at least 700 yards 3 times, and caught at least 70 passes three times. Made two Pro Bowls. Between a SILVER and BRONZE... Five gradations depict reality better than just three.

Yeah, Williams is a good one, and your point about gradations is so true. There are guys like Wisnewski, who is arguably silver talent, but clearly not in the same league as silver guards like McDaniel. However, he's also clearly better than silver lineman like Korey Stringer and Jesse Sapolu.

I really do wish there were more fullbacks and more plays for them. If we get another game, we need hot routes specifically for backs that reflect the routes they actually run, and we need more plays both in the passing and the running game that put them in places other than the flats. Larry Centers would be fun to use in this game, and Sam Gash would be a good addition.

I love running plays for my fullback. When running a dynasty on NCAA Football 2003/2004 I always made sure I had a good FB, and then ran the "I" mercilessly... Always made sure I had a good TE for play action too.

Mike Alstott another good FB choice.

Re: Guys that should be in the game

He's already been mentioned but here is some video. Eric Metcalf. One of my all time favorite offensive multipurpose players. I'm not sure where he goes in the tiers. I'd say Gold but it depends on how you rate him. If you go by all purpose yards for a player he's easily a gold IMO with 17, 230 all purpose yards. That's number 11 on the all time list.
