Is It Still Worth It?

I just got over 100$ for my bday and I'm considering finally buying this game. I still play NFL 2k5 on the 360 and have Blitz the League 2, Madden 09, Head Coach 09 etc. I'm kinda interested in giving this game a try though. Is it still worth it? and how much money is it?

Yes it is still worth it even if it was 60$.

You can probably find it for 5.

It doesn't match up to NFL 2K5 on the field... And has a host of issues that sap some of the fun out of it...

It does have some good aspects to it though... The individual player abilities bring a new dimension.

Considering worth is subjective, I can't really answer your question. For me personally it just makes me wish they'd make another game.

I disagree with Koshi on this. I was one of the biggest 2K5 supporters ever, but APF is an on-field improvement. It's not perfect, but it's a damn good game and worth the money.

-Defensive Back AI issues, as in there really isn't much of it to speak about.

-Defensive line play, manually controlling defensive linemen is a step back from NFL 2K5.

-Defensive Blitz AI, poor routes to the ball on blitzes.

-Poor Defensive AI in general, especially when in Zone coverage.

-Player imbalance, with some players being too effective... Especially if you know how to use them.

-Curl and Hitch patterns not working like they should, with the receiver getting stuck in a lengthy animation that really hinders the effectiveness of those routes.

-Lack of modes, as it seems the game was mainly built for online play.

Good to know the faults BEFORE i buy it. I hope i find a place that has it in the 5 or under bin.
