1) Can you edit existing players names/skin color/etc.?

2) What's the max. roster size?

3) How many teams are there?

Thanks a bunch. I have always played NCAA/Madden and was maybe looking for a change of pace.

OK, I got from Wikipedia that there are 24 teams.

Can I also ask if the controls are completely different than EA's? Are they pretty intuitive/user friendly? I don't have a terrible amount of stick skills, and I need a pretty simple layout.

Answers:

1. No. Poo and fooey.
2. You choose or create 9 (or is it 11?) stars for your team, then the CPU fills out the rest of your roster with generic players. You can't edit those generic players nor can you adjust your roster. Double poo/fooey.

You can create up to 8 teams, but you can't play one against the other OR play as one of the default CPU teams without a second controller. Also, there's a max of 20 created players allowed per roster save and only one roster save is allowed, so you need a memory card if you plan on having multiple teams composed of created players.

(All of the above was VC's way of giving the finger to the many loyal 2K5 gamers who have kept that game alive now for close to half a decade due to all its customization and gameplay options.)

As for controls, they're just like other controls on any football game I've ever played: push buttons to pass, move thumbstick to run.

There is a way of creating as many teams and players as you want. I still digesting it but a (moving) picture is worth a 1000 words.

Is there a way to play two created teams against each other that was saved in a different set of eight created teams? Ex: let's say I created the Nfc east and nfc north 8teams right, but I want to play the Raiders whom I created in the next batch of teams( new set 8 teams). Is this a possibility? i just picked this game up and was wondering if this scenario is posiblible. Thanks to all who respond.
