Unbelievable Interceptions (Video) 1 Handed Catches!

Oh My God

#1) Pete Metzelaars makes an amazing leaping catch, only to drop it right before his knee hits the ground. The ball goes in between his legs and gets kicked up onto the back of my safety who had dove and missed. Terry McDaniel runs over and scoops up the ball resting on my safety's back. Amazing.

#2) In the same game, Pete Metzelaars goes to catch a pass over the middle, but the safety slides down and grabs the ball with 1 hand for the incredible interception.

#3) A pass to Don Maynard is cut off by Lem Barney, who makes an unbelievable leaping 1 handed interception.

The first one was the best mainly due to seeing all the different dynamic animations the 2K engine sports. I wish I had some screen capture software because I've stockpiled a bunch of awesome animations on my HDD that I've yet to come across on other people's highlights.

These are all pretty commonplace animations, actually.

I think the rarest one you'll see in this game is when the snap that goes over the punter's head, which can sometimes result in him trying the "rugby" style punt just to get it off.

I've had the game since release day and have only seen it once.

Usually if you dont see a reason, it was a previously banned user. Or a deleted post.

Hmm, you know what, I bet it has something to do with the Special Teams Demon Ability.

The game where it happened was an online league game. No special teams demons were on the field.

It was just two normal 11-CAP teams going at it.
