Those games are a bit different. From what I've seen it doesn't look like they're editing save files but instead editing the contents of the blu-ray plus a few more steps. With that being said some save files can be edited because some developers don't encrypt the files. However most are encrypted and it so happens that 2k encrypted their game as well.
In reference to PS3 unsig; I repeat, that program will not decrypt save files. It will work on other types of files but none that pertain to editing a roster in 2k8.
Your options for roster editing at this point are this: buy an xbox and go from there or travel to the future and find a computer capable of
brute forcing the 128-bit SSL encryption in a timely fashion.
