World League

I want to make 32 teams from around the world for a franchise and I need teams from around the world. I will only do 3 U.S. cities in order to make it a huge league but I would like allot of Ideas. Cities I have now are

Chicago, United States
New York, United States
Los Angeles, United States
Sidney, Australia
London, England
Shanghai, China
Moscow, Russia
Tokyo, Japan
etc

Any ideas would be great. Team colors and team names would be good too but colors will mostly be the colors of the countries flag.

I love the idea of a world league.
I was thinking of doing a world cup of sorts, create 32 countries and battle it out. Flags wouldn't be hard to create for logos.

Great idea, and give the players the type of names you'd find in their nationality. Ya know, stereotype them like with the French, give a guy the last name "Pierre", etc.

Don't forget about Africa. I would put teams in at least Cairo, Egypt and Johannesburg, South Africa. It would also be funny to have the Antarctica Polar Bears or Eskimos or something like that to make it really worldwide.

I also think it would be really cool to set it up regionally and have fierce political rivalries. Tel Aviv, Israel vs Gaza/West Bank, Palestine. New Delhi or Mumbai, India vs Karachi,Pakistan. Tibet vs Beijing, China. Miami, Florida, US vs Havana, Cuba..... etc.

As for Names, The South Africa Madibas (what Mandela is called there). The Cairo Pharaohs, Tibet Buddhas or Yogis, Havana Revolutionaries. Most the other names would be influenced by my political views on their respective conflicts so I will abstain, but I am sure you can figure something out.

Iraq vs Iran would be intense, or even better Russia vs Georgia or even better America vs Canada (kick some Canadian ***)
