Question Where is the running game?....How do you run effectively?

Where is the running game?....How do you run the ball effectively? Even in the NFL, there are teams that can run the ball pretty effectively. Is anyone having any luck?

I don't mess around with outside runs. Straight up the gut with a big strong back. I've found it effective to either run straight into the hole head down, or to angle towards one side of the hole then spin move into the hole to throw off the defenders. I had 85 yards rushing in my first full game, 10 min quarters.

Depends on the type of back you have. I use a speed back and run alot of pitches. I never ever use the Right trigger, not even in open field. Easily averaging 150ish yards on the ground a game. He doesn't get tired so I run unless its 3rd and long.

If you go to the outside use focus mode to look downfield at the defenders, if you go inside go aggresive mode and truck/protect ball for forward momentum.

You need to be ready to cut right away. You can use focus on outside runs. Just like in the NFL, if the hole isn't there, juke to the side and you usually will find a new hole as the defense had blocked the hole you where trying to run through. I don't use RT until I'm in the open field or trying to run over a defender.

I was running well with the Jacksonville team against the Houston team.

I just keep running anyways usually, and then again on 4th, then block their 3-out punt or sack them for a safety, rinse and repeat Better than throwing a pick.

The more you play the better you'll get at noticing any over pursuit so you can juke out of their way. It's really discouraging learning it, and early on a lot of it is luck really.
