The time we have in the pocket is very realistic.

If you're getting sacked alot you're simply holding onto the ball far too long. I was doing some research on my new QB J Campbell and his avg sack time was 3.66 seconds. So you have about 3 seconds to make your read and throw the ball.

Interceptions may be an issue as DBs do drop a good chunk of balls throw at them, but sacks are not. Get your game up.

yea i remember when i was playing football they always told us that we have four seconds to throw the football so i think that this is very realistic

Well, in real football you can also see a lot more of what's going on around you and down the field.

How? Only thing you can do in real life you can't do in this game is look and throw to your hot receiver instantly. What you see in this game is very close to what you see in real life.

I think what you really meant is feel. I played football all my life and I felt pressure far more times than I ever saw it.

I like the fact there is a blindside. But it's a double edged sword. Yes in real football you see quarterbacks get happy feet and feel pressure that isnt there, but there should be an ability to look around and not be completely blind. I find myself throwing the ball because i can't see if pressure is coming when in reality i would look that way and see. I can't. You can move between your reads to get a different perspective of the field but thats not the way its meant to be. It also doesnt affect the camera on defense. I'm not saying Madden's god mode is the answer either. But there should be a button where you can swivel the camera if need be.

The reality is there are different ways to get an end result. I like the fact backbreaker is at least trying something different. But it's still a ways off. On the other side of the spectrum, having just one football title saying this is the way it is and that's that isn't good for gaming either. But that's not to say Backbreaker is good. It does some things very right yes. The physics and graphics engine are superb. The camera breaths a fresh air in some ways. But it needs work.

In this game pressure gets through untouched too often. Also, the players are slower than real life so WR's don't explode into their routes. In training I timed the RB and it took him like 6.5 to 7 seconds to run a 40. Also it takes too long to throw, I'd like to see a quicker release - at least from the top rated QB's. Factor in the clausterphobic QB camera and clunky control system you really need more like 4-5 seconds to throw.

Still loving the game by the way.

It wouldn't be so bad if the receivers would hit their breaks faster, or if you could throw the ball before the receiver broke on his route. If you throw before the break in the route, the WR just keeps running the original direction of the route, it's insane. I'm sitting there waiting waiting waiting for the WR to break and then I'm sacked.

Take the snap, read the defense, know what coverage you're looking at, hit your reads and throw the ball right before your intended WR makes his break. This is how passing is done and how it's possible to have a passing game with 2-4 seconds to throw each time.

Simply not possible in Backbreaker the majority of the time.
