After almost 100 games on the demo I have to say this game is close to being the GOAT

If this game is a tech demo then what was Madden 2004 or NFL 2k2? BBs running game beats both of those and the passing game is no worse. I care most about core gameplay because thats what makes me come back to a game and play it a lot. NBA 2k10 has A+ features with B-/C+ gameplay so I dont play it as often as other sports games. I would say BB already has B- gameplay or close to it but my point was that the things that keep it from being the greatest are simple fixes in perspective to what they already pulled off.

Unfortunately that doesn't mean they will get there. Gameday 98 was IMO the best player vs player football videogame of its time but 99 sucked and so did the rest.

And have played the game? Oh that is right you haven't, since you said that in a couple of other threads.

After actually playing the game for a good amount of time now I think the people calling the game glorified tech demo are way off base. It may have a good deal of flaws and some things missing, but calling it a tech demo is ridiculous IMO.

I just find it funny that people like yourself who haven't even played the game are saying what it is or is not. Play the game and then you can have opinion, instead of piggybacking off of the opinions of other people like reviewers.

I disagree with the op that the game is close to being the GOAT, but the foundation is defiantly there.

The "GOAT Core Gameplay" is kind of ruined with the number of interceptions, lack of plays to run, and watching my player collapse like jello as soon as he touches the back of a blocker.

And outside of that core gameplay, the game has nothing. The franchise modes are jokes. So, until the core gameplay can be fixed and then expanded, the game remains a tech demo.

Actually he has a point. And the post comes off as if it was not to you but to all those who Overrate the heck outta this game. They like to compare this game to the other one and they are nothing alike---or even close to great.they say they are tired of the other one, but keep talking about it and won't move on. Also O-Dogg has a point in comparing it basically to a tech demo. The customization isn't all i expected besides the team builder. I can barely touch my players and depth charts---or even ratings??? Seriously? Tackle alley is fun for a bit. But overall i get the feeling that game is shallow, the season modes leave a bit more to be desired...the only reason i keep putting it in my Xbox is cause its a change of pace...but still lacking. I give the game a 4.5/10, but hope for more next time...not even close to the greatest anything....Lmao, stop defending this game with every breath folks (although it was worse before the game came out)...its just as bad as people defending the "other game"....really pointless when considering the state of both, even though they hold promise---Imo that is.
