My Comments:
This trade is worth it because Ben Sheets is 29, Matt Clement is 33, and Scott Downs is 31. None of these players come close to the talent of Tim Lincecum, and he's 23. Lincecum easily replaces Sheets in the rotation and is a fraction of the salary.
