LaRoche Odd Man Out in Pittsburgh?

After a 12-3 walloping against the reds, Pirates GM Neal Huntington made it clear that this lack of run production will not be tolerated.
"While we are currently in a rebuilding process, we have to get some run production at the MLB level."
The Pirates are stuck with 5 AAAA-caliber pitchers, and LaRoche seems to be their only trade bait.

Boggs, Miller Acquired From Cardinals

CINCINATTI - General Manager Neal Huntington announced a trade between the Pittsburgh Pirates and division rival St. Louis Cardinals.
"We acquired young righty Mitchell Boggs and a very good pitching prospect in Shelby Miller from the Cardinals," says Huntington. "Sadly we had to give up two very good pitchers in Tyler Yates and Jeff Karstens, leaving our second setup role open, and a rotation spot open in Triple-A."
