In this franchise as the GM of the Mets we have one mindset. Building a championship team for our fans, the key word being 'building'. In past years we have tried rushing to success losing sight of how most teams become perennial contenders.

With this being said we will stride to continue to build on what is am already developing prospect pool, while surrounding our young players with established players who have more experience in the league.
