Re: Rory McMahon - Road to the Show (MLB 14)

Reality has set in for Rory McMahon who has realized his best way to solidify a spot with the Braves into the future is to switch from first base to third. Limited appearances as a pinch hitter are making it difficult to improve his defensive skills so patience is wearing thin, but spirits are high as the red-headed slugging Irishman continues his journey to be the greatest home run hitter in Major League history.

Re: Rory McMahon - Road to the Show (MLB 14)

Rory McMahon has continued to impress as a pinch hitter for the Atlanta Braves organization. His recent switch to third base has him hungry for more playing time and his youthful impatience may soon get the best of him. Will Freddie Gonzalez and the Braves organization grant McMahon's wish for more playing time?

Re: Rory McMahon - Road to the Show (MLB 14)

Since switching to third base Rory McMahon has persistently pursued manager Freddie Gonzalez for more playing time. Chris Johnson has a strong grip on the Atlanta Braves starting spot at the hot corner and McMahon's frustration over the situation is causing his power numbers to dip.

Re: Rory McMahon - Road to the Show (MLB 14)

After weeks of spot starts and pinch hit appearances, Rory McMahon's future is shifted with news of a surprise trade by the Atlanta Braves. Did Freddie Gonzalez finally get tired of McMahon constantly asking for playing time and ship him out? Or did the Braves move other pieces to give the slugging Irishman an everyday job?

Re: Rory McMahon - Road to the Show (MLB 14)

The Atlanta Braves made Rory McMahon's heart skip a beat with a surprise trade of third baseman Chris Johnson to the Detroit Tigers. The swap opened up the starting spot at the hot corner for McMahon. See his first games as the Major League Starter for Atlanta at the ripe age of 19 years old.

Re: Rory McMahon - Road to the Show (MLB 14)

Rory McMahon is finally settling in to the starting role at third base for the Atlanta Braves. He has his sights on the Rookie of the Year award but it's going to take an offensive explosion over the final two months of the season to get there. He'll need to get his average and RBI count up, and a powerful series in Minute Maid Park could be the spark he needs to wake up his powerful bat.

Re: Rory McMahon - Road to the Show (MLB 14)

The Rookie of the Year chase was a distant hope at one point, but after a flurry of McMahon Slams, Rory McMahon finds himself in the thick of the pursuit. Atlanta has clinched a playoff spot -- and eventually the NL East -- but how many homeruns can the red-headed beast mash before the season's end? And will it be enough to take home ROY honors?

Re: Rory McMahon - Road to the Show (MLB 14)

Rory McMahon finishes the 2015 season in pursuit of the Rookie of the Year award as well as a couple of milestones. Can he take home the hardware and reach the 100 hit mark as well as reach 20 home runs?
