Re: The Disabled List: A Texas Rangers Dynasty (PS4)

Rangers Rebound, Offense Shows Up, Evens Record to 1-1

Colby Lewis definitely showed up today and pitched very well against the Phillies. "I did what I had to today. I didn't wanna go out there and disappoint anyone, especially myself. We couldn't have done it without Arencibia, that's for sure. I know it's early but he's really seeing the ball when, I hope this continues." Texas will take on Philly tomorrow for the final game of the series finale. It will be Nick Tepesch against former Ranger, Cliff Lee...

Re: The Disabled List: A Texas Rangers Dynasty (PS4)

Catchy title. Don't see a lot of Rangers on here and it should be really challenging playing with real life injuries considering what has happened to Texas this year. Good luck toppling Trout, Felix, and the scheming Billy Beane.

Re: The Disabled List: A Texas Rangers Dynasty (PS4)

So to go along with this, I've found a new rule regarding Call ups and demotions....All credit goes to HustlinOwl

Promotions

(All Fielders/Relievers must have played 1/3 of games at that level and Starters must have pitched at least 1/2 of season starts of the 5 man rotation.) Ex: I've played 40 games, then the 5 man rotation would have started 8 times each, therefore the player must have pitched 4 starts to qualify.

AA-AAA
1st of each month - send a starter up/down based on ERA.

10th of each month - send a fielder up/down based on average.

20th of each month - send a relief pitcher up/down based on ERA.

*****All promotions end on August 20th based on potential playoff births*****

MLB/AAA

At the 40, 80, 120 game mark, a fielder, reliever and starter will be moved up/down to the big squad based on Average, ERA, and Losses (with win % being the tie-breaker respectively.)

This is just for me to keep track, think it'd be nice to see what players have gotten called up and so forth....

AA-AAA
May 1st -
May 10th -
May 20th -
June 1st -
June 10th -
June 20th -
July 1st -
July 10th -
July 20th -
August 1st -
August 10th -
August 20th -
MLB/AAA
May 13th -
June 27th -
August 12th -

Re: The Disabled List: A Texas Rangers Dynasty (PS4)

Feliz Nearly Blows It, Rangers Hold On

Philly already scored twice in the 9th, Runners on 1st & 3rd. Howard Up. Feliz gets the sign. Everyone knows it's gonna be a fastball and....He strikes him out..Hello Win Column!!!!

Best game I've had so far...Pretty much went back and forth until Texas came through with 2 in the 5th and 1 more in the 7th...Daniel Robertson played a huge part in todays game. He was 3/4, with a SB, 2 Runs and an RBI.

Robertson had this to say afterwords, "I just want to go out and do my part. When you see you're name with Beltre, Choo, Rios, Elvis, you just hope you don't embarrass yourself. I want to show these guys I belong up here.." Mr. Robertson, if you keep playing like this, you'll definitely have a home.

Re: The Disabled List: A Texas Rangers Dynasty (PS4)

Rangers Still Homer-less, Streak to 36 Innings But Hold On To Win A Close One

Something is wrong for the Rangers, they have no home runs...Maybe they'll have better luck tomorrow in that department on the other side of things. Their pitching and defense are working just fine...

Elvis makes a diving stop and throws from his knees to get Rays All-Star 3B Evan Longoria at 1st.

Rios & Odor make the play of the game. After a double down the line by Joyce, Pinch Runner Brandon Guyer tries to score from 1st (after entering the game for Ben Zobrist in the 9th). Rios makes a perfect throw to cut-off man Odor who makes a perfect relay to nail Guyer at the plate. Chirinos holds up the ball to show he's out.

Re: The Disabled List: A Texas Rangers Dynasty (PS4)

Rangers Win Fourth Straight, Get To Rays Bullpen

The streak is finally over. The Rangers are the last team to hit a HR in MLB. Adrian Beltre hit it off of Joel Peralta in the 9th inning after Alex Rios doubled to start the inning.

Beltre robs Longoria of a hit in the 1st inning.

Rios saves the day with the diving catch to preserve the tie ballgame.

Nick Martinez earned Player of the Game honors today after shutting down the Rays with ease...
