Carrillo hits the big leagues! He will wear #58 for the Tampa Bay Rays. He currently plays LF, but will be replaced every 7 games by B. Guyer. Carrillo will also be 4th in the batting rotation.

Rodriguez has been promoted back to Pulaski Yankees in the Appalachian League, while Ho stays one league below.

Ben Brown was demoted to Grand Junction after a disappointing season in the A league.

Draft Day Results

Ben Brown has been released by the Colorado Rockies the day after draft day, marking his 1 year anniversary on the team.

Luis "The Admiral" Garcia was drafted #27 in the 6th round (187th overall) by the New York Mets. He failed to sign a contract

Dan De Cast was drafted #5 in the 27th round (795th overall) by the Kansas City Royals out of College. This is the 3rd draft he has entered, after going undrafted in the first, and failing to sign with Texas in the 2nd. He currently plays for the Kansas City (DSL) Royals.

Octavio Garcia was drafted #1 in the 19th round (551 Overall) by the Milwaukee Brewers. He currently signed and is playing for the Milwaukee (DSL) Brewers.

Danny Hammad was drafted #12 in the 75th round (2242 overall) by the Cleveland Indians. He currently signed and is set to play with the Cleveland (AZL) Indians.

Jeff Robinson was drafted #17 in the 55th round (1647th overall) by the Boston Red Sox. He currently signed and is going to play for the Boston 2 (DSL) Red Sox 2

End of Season update

Carrillo is a gem for Tampa Bay due to the fact that he's very loyal, has great leadership and the fact that money and winning isn't a big deal to him. In 113 games, he started 111 and hit 21 home runs, while getting 67 RBI's. He dawns #58.

Fierro had a disappointing game in the A league, with 4 wins and 8 loses. He wears #60 and allowed 10 home runs and has 82 strikes.

Rodriguez has been promoted to the Stanton Island Yankees (New York Penn League S A) after two years in the rookie league. He has yet to play for this team.

De Cast spent the year split between college and Kansas City (DSL) Royals. In college, he started all 53 games, and in the the rookie league, he started 56 out of 65 games, beltin 8 home runs and 37 RBI's

Ho still plays for New York1 (GCL) Yankees1.

Hammad has yet to play for his team.

Garcia is 3-3 pitching for the DSL Brewers with 3.42 ERA

Carrillo has started all 24 games he's played thus far for the Rays.

Fierro's potential raised to 61. He wears #61 for the Miami Marlins, and is the current starter and is 1-1 in 4 games started. In 28 innings, he's had 2 ER and 13 stike outs.

Luis "The Admiral" Garcia plays for the Columbus College Cats, and is 6-1 with 1.33 ERA

Jeff Robinson was released by the Boston Red Sox

Hammad was released by Cleveland

Before Playoffs Update

Carillo played 147 games for the Rays, notching 21 home runs and 67 RBI's

Rodriguez was called up to the Charleston Riverdogs (A), where he wears #16 and is expected to play very limited minutes. He currently has only pitched 6 innings.

Garcia had a decent year with the Milwaukee (DSL) Brewers with a 4-1 record in 8 games, and 2.92 ERA. His WAR was 0.6

Ho had only 2 runs in 16 PA, for the New York1 (GCL) Yankees1

Chavez Still plays for the Chicago (DSL) Cubs, 7 HR's and

Luis "The Admiral" Garcia was released by Columbus College Cats, and # 30 in round 6 (186th overall) by the L.A Dodgers. He pitched 91.1 innings in 15 games for the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers.

Lerma was drafted #29 in round 25 (755th overall) by the Chicago Cubs. He has 2 RBI in 10 PA for the Chicago N (AZL) Cubs.

Blackburn was drafted #7 in round 32 (943 Overall) by the Houston Astros and has 3 HR's and 21 RBI's for the Houston 2 (DSL) Astro Orange

Chambers was drafted #13 in round 29 (859 overall) by the Texas Rangers. So far, he has 0 games under his belt

Jeff Robinson was signed for 3 months then released by the Washington Nationals

BREAKING NEWS!
Bob Brown has decided to call it quits. The first of the prospects, Brown had a total of 26 games played, in both A and SA. He was originally drafted by the Colorado Rockies, but was released a year later.
Brown was quoted saying:
"Yeah, it sucks. I mean if I could, I'd go right back into it. I just couldn't afford the game honestly. I expected to go straight to the MLB, but unfortunately the GM didn't see it that way."

When asked if He would coach, he replied:
"Nobody can tell the future, I'm sure I'll be around" as he smiled and walked off.
