Braves Defense Comes Up Throwing
Take Out Pirates At Plate Twice In 5-4 Win
In what was a lopsided box score, the Atlanta Braves were able to overcome a large hit difference to take down the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-4. The 16-7 hit gao was only kept close with strong defensive arms in the outfield. Matt Kemp and Ender Inciarte each had an outfield assist at home to keep the Pirates from breaking the game open. The Pirates ran into a defensive nightmare in the 9th allowing 4 passed balls and the Braves to come from behind.
