Jalloh lays in a rebound then after Jalloh cans two free throws, Carter nails a short turnaround jumper to pull James Madison to within two, 12-10, with just over 15:00 remaining. Swanston sinks a jumper and Curtis puts in a layup to give the Dukes the lead then Posey drains a 3pter and Chami cans a hook. Lonon makes 1 of 2 free throws then Jalloh drops in a layup. Second Half

Chavis Holmes lays in a rebound then Thomas and Swanston hit jumpers to give the Dukes a 19-point lead, 62-43, midway through the second half. Jalloh nails a 3pter and after Hunter lays in a rebound, Lonon and Jalloh trade layups. Williams makes 1 of 2 free throws then after Posey tips in a rebound, Houston and Thornton trade layups. Williams cans two free throws then after Koufos banks in a layup, Othello Hunter dunks in a rebound and Diebler drops in a layup. Othello Hunter dunks in a rebound and banks in a jumper then Travis Holmes sinks a couple of layups to pull VMI to within seven, 15-8, with under 15:00 remaining. Koufos lays in a rebound then after Williams and Lonon both nail 3pters, Koufos tips in a rebound to give Ohio State a five point lead, 19-14, halfway through the opening half. Diebler banks in a layup then after Othello Hunter banks in a couple of layups on fast breaks, Koufos sinks a hook. Diebler converts a 3-point play and after Chavis Holmes hits a short turnaround jumper, Koufos banks in a layup.
