The New Boys in LA: LA Clippers Association

Los Angeles,CA
Oct. 25

The LA Clippers have for a long time been the little brothers of the Lakers. The Clippers have struggled miserably for the past few years. Dating their past playoff apperance to 2006, the Clippers finish last year with a 19-63 record and won the Draft Lottery. They selected Foward Blake Griffin from Oklohoma. While the horizon is yet to be seen, The Clippers have a talented roster.
With veteran point-guard Baron Davis, 3-point specialist Eric Gordon, and rookie Blake Griffin, I got a feeling this year might not be so bad

(Please tell me if your following and add me a a friend so I can tell you when new updates come out.) opefully griffin doesn't win ROY since he is injured in real life.

Progress Report

We're only half way through the season and the Clippers record from last year has already been improved. Currently with a 22-30 record, their playoff hoped might be over but what an improvement. Last night was the All-Star Game as Durant and the West took care of business.
Mid Way through the season, some experts have already declared LeBron James as the MVP. His team is 38-16 and he is averaging 26 points, 11 rebound and 7 assists.

Trading Block
Apparently, Shaq is not wanted. After getting trading by the Cavaliers in November to the Bucks for Michael Redd, Shaq is once again traded. This time he is traded to the Jazz for Andre Kirlenko
"I don't know, no one wants me, maybe it's time to hang up" said frustrated Shaq.

Another player in the Jazz locker room is making a buzz. Foward Carlos Boozer as declared that he will enter Free Agency. Expect the Clippers, Heat and Grizzlies to be intersted.

WE DID IT!

The Charlotte Bobcats have won the NBA Championship. Going into the play-offs with the 5th seed, no one believe in them. It was no fluke! They beat the Magics, the Celtics and the Cavs. Oklohoma got the bitter end. Losing 4-2 in the Finals was a heartbreaking loss for this young, talented roster. Nothing to be shame of. They had to beat the Lakers, the Grizzlies, but at the end, the Bobcats survive the storm(no pun intented).
After key late fourth quarter-free throws, the Bobcats won it 94-90 in game six, congratulations! Steven Jackson was named Finals MVP

Summer Makeover?

The Los Angeles Clippers have fired head coach Mike Dunleavy due to his poor perfomance. They hire rookie head coach Quinn Givens to a 6 year contract. While at it, they also fired Assistant Coach Kim Hughes and hired offensive guru Donovan Price to a five year deal. They even fired their NBA scout Gary Green and hired Cobe O'Bryant to a six year deal. They even fired their prospect scout Robert Hall and hired Rick Best to a six year deal. When you think it's over it's not they fired the trainer, the trainer for god sake. They fired Michael Thomas and hired Geofrey Jones to a six year deal.
"We felt like we needed a new athmosphere, a new start, it's the begining of a dynasty" said new GM Kesley Charles.

Lucky Bounce?

The Bulls may have won the lottery, but is Wall and Rose going to be a chemistry issue. With the 3rd pick, chances are that Griffin and Wall will be teammate or at least Evan Turner.

Re: The New Boys in LA: LA Clippers Association

New York City, NY
One for the Ages?

After the Bulls won the NBA Draft, John Wall's draft stock was tumbling to eveen to the number 10 spot. Many called Evan Turner the unanimous number one pick going to Chicago, this draft had a little twist.
It all started when 15 minutes before the draft, John Wall proclaimed himself as the first pick. saying
"Me and Rose gonna be bigger than Jordan."
Well, he was wrong, Turner was picked first overall. After that he stated that him and Harris are the next big thing(referring to the Nets who had the second pick). He was once again wrong. The Nets picked Foward Al Faroug Aminu. Wall kinda kept quiet but when he heard the Clippers where on the clock, he quickly got up from his seat and fixed his tie. The Clippers where deciding one wheter Baron Davis services was longer needed. It was between Wall and Derrick Favors. To Wall relief, they chose him with the 3rd pick. The rest of the draft was quiet. Clippers did the best in my opinion, drafting Collins and Wall, two great guards.
