Johnson Looking To Shake Things Up

Johnson Looking To Shake Things Up
New GM Larry Johnson is looking to make some moves this season."We're exploring our options. I've met with Chris and he's expressed his desire to remain with the team as long as we get him the right pieces, so that's what we're trying to do." Johnson said. The Hornets may be looking to move David West and Emeka Okafor's contract. The Hornets acquired Jarret Jack, Trevor Ariza, Jason Smith, Willie Green, and Marco Bellinelli this offseason.

Chris Paul Aiming For MVP

Carr

Chris Paul's Looking To Recover From Last Season

"I feel good" Chris Paul said after the 1st day of training camp. "I feel as good as I've ever felt, I worked really hard to get the knee back to where it was before the injury and I'm ready to go out and prove that. I'm setting my goals high. I want to be named MVP this season and contend in the west. If management shows me they want to build a contender and make moves I'm all for it, but if not I'll ask for a trade but I hope that time doesnt come." Paul said to reporters. Paul averaged 18.7 PPg 10.7 APG and 4.2 RPG in a career low 45 games, down from the 22.8 PPG 11.0 APG and 5.6 RPG in 78 Games he put up in 2009.
