The Knicks haven't set the pace this well since the 1st game of the season in Toronto. This marks the first back-to-back wins for the Knicks all season. They're getting solid help offensively and defensively from the bench.
Rookie Landry Fields had his coming out party going 8-8 from the field. Which helped him get his career-high 20 points. Gallo continued to struggle from the field posting a miserable 3-13 from the field.
Felton and company were able to hold scoring sensation Brandon Jennings to only 2 points on 1-7 shooting. Felton has played superior defense on opposing point guards this season. Michael Redd did all he can, even though he took a fall early in the game, but got right back up posting 22 points to lead all Bucks.
Anthony Randolph did a fine job off the bench and play a nice game on Andrew Bogut, when Turiaf was in he was struggling defensively, which resulted in more playing time for Randolph.
We are starting to see a Bill Walker sighting, another kid with talent out of Kansas St. If he can contribute he will be a solid bench player for the Knicks. A lot of people are still not sold on Landry Fields as the every day starter. Only time can tell.

In a surprise lineup change, Head Coach Mike D'Antoni decided to start the progressing Anthony Randolph against his former team in the Garden. It payed off very nicely, as Randolph recorded season highs in both points and rebounds. 17 and 17 to be exact. A kind of in your face move by D'Antoni.
When asked about....
"I figured this would give us a pretty nice spark of energy this being our 3rd game in 4 nights. I didn't want out guys to be flat and Danilo has been struggling to find his shot, so I figured coming off the bench may give him some help."
When asked if the move is long term or permanent...
"You know, he played well and we are just going to take it day by day. He's improving with every practice. He's a good kid"
Raymond Felton continued his strong play posting up 26 and 9 against the smaller guards of Golden State. Chanlder added in 18 of his own points and back up center Timofey Mozgov had 3 blocks and 12 points, while shooting a perfect 5-5. He is becoming a nice role player. At 7'1 the Russian native is really looking to find his spot.
Monta Ellis went off for his 2nd straight 30 point and 8 assist game of the sseason. It's Ellis' 4th 30 point game performance in the young season. Stephen Curry put up 22 points in the loss. While David Lee struggled against his old team with only 12 points and 4 rebounds on 6-15 shooting.
The Knicks are on a nice 3-game winning streak as they look to get back to .500 when they go to Minnesota and then they have Houston at home over the weekend. Look to see if Randolph will start in place of the struggling Gallinari.
Re: A New York Knickerbocker Association(360 2k11)
Following homes. Decent start to the season. Sucks that STAT is currently out; i can't wait to see him back in that line-up of yours....hmmm Melo-STAT connection in the near future perhaps???
Re: A New York Knickerbocker Association(360 2k11)
The season's slowly getting better for you it seems. I personally think that Stat out is actually good for the team. Forces you to play without Stat and if you can win without him, then it guarantees that you can win with him. By the way, don't go for the Melo-Stat connection >_> Danilo, Chandler, Fields, Randolf already ensure you have some great forwards, what happened to Azuibuke though?! Anyways, pretty interesting so far, would be nice to see them go .500%
