Reporter: Danny, your team is full of veterans up and down the lineup and you really don't have any players on the roster for the future. The original 'Big Three' went up in flames at the end and had no rebuilding plan what are you thinking?

GM Danny Ainge: We have our future on the roster. Rondo, Perk and Big Baby are our next 'Big Three' We are going to win our championships now and keep infusing veteran talent around them and hopefully win enough to pull away from the Lakers and let them ride off into the sunset with more then a handful of rings.
Reporter: Is that why there are no rookies on the roster and no recent draft picks?
GM Danny Ainge: Yes, thank you very much, enjoy the game.

October/November Month in review coming next!

Re: Boston Celtics 2009-2010:Reloading for Round II

Paul Pierce Injured 6-8 Weeks With Broken Ankle

In the first game of the month Pierce broke his ankle in the 100-109 loss to the Bobcats. After the injury Doc Rivers went big the rest of the game instead of playin Wally Szczerbiak more. The starting lineup until Ray Allen, Rondo, and Pierce are healthy is Allen Iverson at the Point, Stackhouse at the 2 guard, Kevin Garnett at the Small Forward, Sheed at the Power, and Perk at the 5. They won't be able to run with the faster teams but they plan to push around smaller opponents in the paint. We'll see how it works out.
