After a realignment in the NBA ( custom league) the Portland Trail Blazers found themselves playing in the Eastern Conference in the Central Division. The Hornets were also moved to the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. The Cavaliers and the Pacers moved over to the west and Clippers were replaced by the Connecticut Lions ( Created team, clippers roster).

The Blazers struggled in their first year in the Eastern Conference finishing 40-42 good enough for the 8th seed in the play offs but were absolutely embarrassed by the Big 3 in Miami losing 4 straight by a deficit of more than 12 in each game. Miami Cruised through the eastern conference sweeping Orlando and Boston to make it to the finals to Play the 4th seeded Dallas Mavericks. Miami would win the series in 6 games with lebron winning the Finals MVP.

Despite the early finish to the Trail Blazers there was some hope since they acquired Cleveland's 1st round pick at the beginning of the season that sent Wes Matthews and Portland's 1st round pick to Cleveland. The pick as expected was a very high pick, the 5th Overall pick. And with that Pick the Blazers drafted Kyrie Irving with 5th overall pick. The 1st pick went to Detroit and they drafted Kahwi Leonard ( Shocked me a lot). After drafting a Future Pg, Portland decided to go get a Veteran Pg. Portland traded Gerald Wallace and Toney Douglas to Phoenix for Steve Nash and 1st round pick. This allows Kyrie to develop and gives Batum the Opportunity to start. Also in the off-season, Portland extended Greg Oden's Contract to 6 yrs worth $89.96m. After playing a impressive full year, Portland rewarded him with a Big Contract. With Greg Oden being re-signed i wanted to implement him more into my offense, so with that said a three team trade was made.:

Blazers Receive: James Harden Austin Daye and Det '12 1st round pick
Detroit receives: Brandon Roy and Portland '12 1st round Pick
Thunder receive : Ben Gordon and Det '13 1st round pick and Det '12 2nd round pick

Now with the second season well under way here is a look at my roster:

1 v.s 2

Portland Traveled to Boston to take on the number 1 team in the Eastern Conference. Boston (31-13) defeated Portland in their last match up 92-81, that evened the season series at 1-1 after Portland opened its season beating Boston 82-74. But both those games were back in October and November and Portland is a different team since the last time they played.

Portland is coming off a disappointing loss to the struggling Atlanta Hawks, but rebounded well in the Game at Boston Defeating Boston 108 to 102 to take the season series lead 2-1.

Re: Lets Blaze!: A Portland Trail Blazers Dynasty

League news:

Pacers Trade: Brandon Rush, Dahntay Jones
Kings trade: James Posey, Donte Greene

Pacers got ripped off in my opinion.
