Becoming Elite - Memphis Grizzlies
 Becoming Elite  The Memphis Grizzlies are a team on the rise. After their first round upset of the San Antonio Spurs, the brilliant play of Zach Randolph, and the emergence of Marc Gasol, the team has shown improvement year after year. The organization has done well to maintain financial stability, as they do not have a single terrible contract on the roster. Last year the Grizzlies finished a solid 46-36, the 8th seed in the Western Conference, only to be eliminated in the 2nd round of the postseason by the Oklahoma City Thunder in what was arguably the most exciting of all the series last spring. The team is far from perfect, but with their youth, a strong frontcourt, and their offensive efficency, the Memphis Grizzlies are on their way to becoming elite. |
