Chicago, IL- The #1 seed and the league MVP were not enough for the Bulls to win a championship. So many high hopes came to a crashing end in the Eastern Conference Finals after Chicago lost the series to the Miami Heat. "It left a sour taste in our mouth, we were so close, and to lose that way, it hurts" said MVP Derrick Rose after last year's defeat.
And with the lockout, many of the Bulls players were not even sure if a season was going to be played. But finally, after some time, the NBA has once again opened their doors and with that comes new hope in the windy city.
The Bulls will bring back most of their team as well as the addition of the new starting 2 guard, Richard Hamilton. Many fans and critics felt that Chicago was in need of a solid 2 guard who can create his own shot to go along with Rose, and they believe that they now have that.
Coach Thibodeau addressed the media during the first day of practice and he really had nothing but positive things to say about the rookie Jimmy Butler (Chicago's 1st round pick from Marquette), and they look to him to add a little more depth on the bench. Also talks that Boozer has come to camp in great shape has talks of another title run in the second city.
The season begins on November 1st against the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks, and we will be your home for all things Chicago Bulls.
