2011-12 Preview

After being a playoff team with Reggie and Jermaine in the late-90's and early-2000's, the Pacers fell off and started to be one of the worst teams in the NBA. But since seeing Larry Bird take over Basketball Operations and players like Granger, Collison and Hibbert step up, they've started to win more and more games, and then finally in 2011, they made the playoffs for the first time since 2006, but were unfortunately defeated in the first round. After that strong 2011 season, teams are starting to see a young team that will soon put the NBA on notice. So after a quiet first half to the off-season, the Pacers went out and made a big splash with really there only notable move when they snatched Forward David West from the Celtics, the team that was on the verge of signing the big man.
