I am going to Try to Build the Houston Rockets back into a Western Conference Contender. The Rockets have a TON of Youth. Question is Can ANY of them turn into the type of Players to get the Team back to where it used to be. I will be giving Brief Recap of each Game and Box Score.I will also give a Monthly Recap for the League.

We open the season against Another team FILLED with Youth in the Detroit Pistons. This was Basically a Game of 2 Halves. The Rockets got out to an Early lead in 1st quarter and kept Adding to it as they led 58-39 at Halftime. The Pistons made some adjustments at Halftime and Actual WON the 2nd Half by 4 Points. Brandon Knight had a GREAT 2nd half for them Driving into the lane and drawing fouls or dishing the rock for some sweet assists. The Rockets had a Balanced scoring attack with 5 players in Double Figures. All in all not a Bad opening game, but After a Great 1st Half Kevin McHale noted that the YOUTH showed in the 2nd half with some ill-advised shots and decision making, but said he would Take the Win.

Nice win following the progress.

Next up the Atlanta Hawks. Once again the Inexperience of the Youth Showed up. This time it was in 4th quarter. We still had a chance to win but Patterson missed a 14ft shot as the Buzzer sounded in Regulation. Overtime was back in fourth. Rockets got the Ball with 15 seconds left. Harden worked the Clock down to 5 seconds, then used a Royce White pick to hit the Game winning Floater in the lane with 0.4 Left. Another Great win, but Coach McHale is STILL looking for a FULL 48 minutes of Solid Play from his team.
