New 30-Team NBA Dynasty(ies)

Hello all, truejedi21 here, and I am starting a new dynasty on NBA 2k13 with 30-team control. I will not be choosing a specific team, but just doing a simulation and managing of all 30 teams. Enjoy!

Roster: bedwardsroy19
Draft Class: Zane3490

Re: New 30-Team NBA Dynasty(ies)

Bennett & Zeller slide, Kabongo & Muscala jump into Round 1

Anthony Bennett (shown above) entered the day as a Top 5 prospect in the 2013 NBA Draft, and figured to not make it past the Bobcats, Suns, or Kings. He did just that, and also slipped passed other potential suitors in the Pistons and the now traded-back Bobcats (from T-Wolves). Bennett was finally snatched up by the 76ers, who were on the market for another big man. Many of which thought that big man to be Cody Zeller, who, due to the Bennett slide, slid five more spots down to the Celtics, who are looking to replace Kevin Garnett.

Myck Kabongo (shown above) was expected to go in the middle of the second round to a team willing to take a risk on the point guard from Texas. Teams like the Bucks, Grizzlies, Mavs, and Hawks all looked to be landing spots for Kabongo. Instead, he would jump up about 20 spots from where he was expected to be in the running to be chosen, by the Knicks at 24. Kabongo has as much talent as the world, but was suspended last season. Mike Muscala, once projected in the first round, dropped to an earl-mid 2nd round prospect, but his offensive abilities at the 5 spot enticed the Thunder too much and snatched him up early. They took defensive-oriented Jeff Withey with the second pick in Round 2.

Re: New 30-Team NBA Dynasty(ies)

Gordon moving to Phoenix, Derrick Williams heads to Charlotte in draft night trades.

Eric Gordon got his wish, and to the dot at that. Last summer, Gordon signed an offer sheet with the Phoenix Suns, one to which the Hornets matched. Well, this year, the Suns got their man. Phoenix traded Marcin Gortat, Jared Dudley, and the No. 5 overall pick to the Hornets in exchange for the oft-injured Eric Gordon and the No. 6 overall pick.

Derrick Williams wasn't used to the max in his current situation in Minnesota and the Wolves took a liking to Victor Oladipo in the draft process. They came to the conclusion that in order to get their prize, they would have to trade the No. 9 overall pick and D-Will for the No. 4 pick to select Oladipo.

Other draft trades: Shawn Marion, No. 13 pick, No. 46 pick to Cleveland for No.19 pick, No. 31 pick, No. 33 pick

Re: New 30-Team NBA Dynasty(ies)

Eric Bledsoe takes next flight to Orlando

Once the Clips got the word CP3 would re-sign with the organization, they sent Eric Bledsoe off as quick as they can. Bledsoe, who stepped in for Paul when he was injured, is a very raw and young prospect that seems ready to lead his own team, not be the second general. That's why Orlando gave up Arron Afflalo to get the young floor general and the expiring contract of Caron Butler, who may get lost in Orlando's young and potetial-filled rotation.

Paul returns to the Clips, Dwight spurns the Lakers for Mavs

Chris Paul has decided to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, which means the Hawks didn't get their man. The Hawks also offered Paul a contract, but he declined in favor of his former team. The Hawks, along with the Lakers and Rockets, also made an effort to get Dwight Howard. Ultimately, Howard decided to not go home to Atlanta, return to Los Angeles, or join James Harden. Instead, he joined forces with Dirk Nowitzki and the recently re-joied O.J. Mayo.

Other big moves include: Josh Smith declining Rockets for Hornets, J.J. Hickson going to Rockets as a last resort, Al Jefferson joining Al Horford in Atlanta, Paul Millsap learning under Tim Duncan in San Antonio, J.R. Smith leaving New York for Philadelphia to join up with re-signed Andrew Bynum, Nate Robinson going to Detroit, Kevin Martin adding the Blazers scoring off the bench, Brandon Jennings returning to Milwaukee with Monta Ellis, Darren Collison singing with the Jazz, and David West re-upping in Indiana.
