Post Game Press Conference (Thibodeau and Rose)

Reporter 1:
Quote:
"First off, congrats on the first win of the season! What do you think helped propel your team past the Kings and what areas if any do you look to work on in practices?"
Tom Thibodeau:
Quote:
"Thank you very much. Well, I was really impressed with the way we were able to get up and down to court on transitions especially fast breaks. We are constantly working to improve all aspects of our game, but I would say we will be working on crashing the offensive boards. There can be many easy buckets made on the offensive glass it's just a matter of getting our guys down there and in the correct position."
Reporter 2:
Quote:
"Derrick, you looked very good in your return, how were you feeling?"
Derrick Rose:
Quote:
"I felt good! It is exciting to be back in competition and going full speed. The knee is doing well, I plan on icing it later, but no pain or second guessing on my end"
Reporter 3:
Quote:
"We are used to seeing you attack and draw fouls, was there a reason for not getting to the foul line.......like any fear when it comes to driving the lane?"
Derrick Rose:
Quote:
"Not at all. I just settled for a bunch of jumpers mainly cause they left me with plenty of room and it has been something I worked on in the off season a lot. By having a shooting game pair with my attack game I feel like I can make myself a larger threat and thus attract more defender attention which will free up my teammates for easy buckets. I cannot wait to play next against the Cavs. I love basketball and it is my passion. Since my injury I have been working my A** off to get back on the court and help my team because I know we are capable of achieving so much!"

Game Notes
Thoughts from the Coach before the road matchup....."We need to have a dominance presence inside with a lot of physicality. Kryie is such a talented young man, but we are confident Derrick will be able to shut him down or at least limit his performance. We played these guys well last year and we look to do the same this year.

Bulls at Cavs

Easy Win in Road Opener

Bulls allowed the Cavs to hang around in the first half but then ran away with it in the 4th quarter. A strong interior game by both Boozer and Noah was the main reason for the second victory of the year for the Bulls. Rose had yet another double double with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Re: The Chicago Bulls Association: The Quest for Another Three-peat

Following!

I am excited to see if the Bulls have what it takes to win it all this year. They definitely have a talented starting lineup, and some quality reserves. Interesting move to dump Rip Hamilton. I am a big fan of Jimmy Butler too, so I hope he can find a way to have a solid season.

Good luck!

Thanks man! I was really never a fan of Rip and plus it was a good way to shed some cash plus I got Belinelli as a sub

That's right, I forgot about Belinelli. I agree with you about Rip too. When Rip first got to Chicago I thought he might have a chance to revive his career because Rose really needed someone who could help out with the scoring load. It sucked that he never lived up to that.

Are you planning to give Nate a big role after all of those break out performances in the playoffs last year?
