2014 would be a whole new year for the Denver Nuggets association. With the loss of head coach George Karl, general manager Masai Ujiri, and vice president Pete D'Alessandro: things had to switch hands quick for the organization of the Denver Nuggets in the business form of things. Those were not the only losses, they also had their new found star Andre Igoudala opt out of his player option and head to free agency which left them with a well-less skilled Randy Foye. Though there was a dark cloud with Igoudala leaving, they gained Nate Robinson and JJ Hickson from free agency and were looking deep from the starting lineup to the bench. This year would mean a new direction for the Denver Nuggets as a whole. This year would surely prove the haters wrong. They had went through and hired Brian Shaw as their head coach, a man who had worked beside Phil Jackson and Frank Vogel - a legend and a very up and coming coach. Denver had their eyes set on one prize. A prize that couldn't be earned with even Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson on the team. The NBA Finals Championship.
