Re: FLY WITH US: A Pelicans Dynasty

Week 3

Game 7
New Orleans Pelicans vs Los Angeles Lakers
W 85-75

We played amazing all game until the 4th quarter where they did manage to bring it back to single digits for a while. In the end we got the W. We held them to 36% shooting. Smith had 17, Davis and Amuni each had 12 and 'Reke had 9, 8 and 8. LA was led by Kobe, who had 19 and Jordan Hill who had 16 rebounds.

Game 8
New Orleans Pelicans vs Boston Celtics
W 110-94

The Boston Celtics are now 0-8 on the season. With the little experience they have, this game was easy as Anthony Davis abused the young big man of the C's. Davis finished the night with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Aminu had a career high 21 points as well as 8 boards. Holiday finally healed from his injury and had 8 & 7. Rondo led Boston with a double-double.

Game 9
New Orleans Pelicans @ Toronto Raptors
W 79-75

This was a very interesting offseason for Toronto this last year. Rudy gay returned from Sacramento back to the Raps. He played well tonight with 17 points but was outplayed by Josh Smith who had 19 points and 11 rebounds. AD and Tyreke each had 13 for NOLA.

Game 10
New Orleans Pelicans @ Philly 76ers
W 113-101

Jrue Holiday definitely stepped up tonight scoring 21 and dishing out 9 assists. Davis also had a big game with 20 and 7 and Tyreke had 16, 7 and 5. For the Sixers, Isaiah Thomas had 24 pts, Thad Young had 18 and Willie Cauley-Stein had 13.

CURRENT RECORD: 6-4

I'M BAAACCCKKKK

Week 4

Game 11
New Orleans Pelicans vs Minnesota Timberwolves
W 90-85

The New Orleans Pelicans were hot all night, shooting 55% in the game and everyone seemed to be feeling it tonight. Davis was the MVP with 19 points, 6 boards and 5 huge blocks. Austin Rivers had 15 and Josh Smith pitched in 13. For the T-Wolves, Kevin Love had a double double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. He shot 30%.

Game 12
New Orleans Pelicans vs NY Knicks
W 117-98

This was a fairly easy game because Melo is currently injured with a torn hamstring and has been out for 4 games now. The Knicks tried to push the the tempo expecting to put pressure on the NOLA defense. The thing is, instead of that, the Pelicans pushed right back, but harder and faster. They dominated the game the entire night and scored 15 more fast break points than NY. JSmoove had 23 and 16 rebounds, AD had 19 and 9, Holiday had 11, 11 and 7.

Game 13
New Orleans Pelicans @ Houston Rockets
L 110-123

The 7 game win streak for New Orleans was ended tonight in Houston by Howard and Co. Howard was a beast and dominated AD all night. He scored 41 points and only allowed Davis to score 14. Harden also played great finishing with 30 points. Tyreke had 19 pts and Holiday did as well. Holiday also had 11 assists.

Current Record: 8-5

Currently have a good idea for a storyline, stay tuned!
