So I played the 2K Hoops Summit on 6-minute quarters controlling Team USA. I won 54-37 I think. Might post box score later, but I was extremely impressed with Solomon Myers, Pooh Lewis, Ayo Wilson, and Raquan Miller.

Matchup Preview: Vancouver Grizzlies at Detroit Pistons

The NBA is back, and so are the Vancouver Grizzlies. Optimism is high in Vancouver, and for good reason. Last year's team went to the playoffs as the sixth seed in the West, but got swept by Golden State. The Grizzlies return Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns, the last two rookie of the year winners. If anything is a concern here, it's inexperience, including rookie coach Ime Udoka.

On the other side, Detroit signed arguably the best big man in the game not named Boogie, Andre Drummond, to a multi-year extension, and added stretch forward Ryan Anderson to an already potent roster. This will be a tough test on the road to start the season for the young Grizz.

Grizzlies Fall to Detroit in Season-Opener

In a season with a lot of question marks to start with, the Grizzlies have to be pleased with tonight's performance, even if it ended in a loss. Vancouver put up 120 points, but ultimately showed their youth with some late game turnovers that ended their chances. Detroit sixth man Brandon Jennings put up 27 points off the bench and was named player of the game.
