Bucks Send Henson to Detroit in Cap Move

The Milwaukee Bucks have sent John Henson and a 2019 first-round pick to Detroit for the expiring contract if Aron Baynes, a 2018 second-round pick, and a 2020 second-round pick. Henson is an exciting, athletic, young defensive talent, but he's only played in 19 of Milwaukee's 52 games this year. There just was not any room in the rotation for him. The Bucks needed to get rid of his contract before this off-season, because they need to re-sign Giannis Antetokounmpo and Robert Covington, who combine to make only $4M on current deals, and Henson makes around $10M a year.

For Detroit, Henson will be allowed to slot in and play a lot with Andre Drummond out with a torn hamstring. Drummond will miss the next 6-8 weeks.

Re: Fear The Deer - A Milwaukee Bucks SimWorld Dynasty

Bucks, Finally Healthy, Take on Detroit

In the first game after the All-Star Break, the Milwaukee Bucks will have everyone on their roster healthy for the first time since early January. Unfortunately for Detroit, the same can not be said for them. They will enter the game without Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson, but did just acquire John Henson from Milwaukee at the All-Star Break.

The Bucks have been very inconsistent all year, but still sit in fifth in the weak Eastern Conference. They'll look to play well down the stretch run, and it all starts tonight against the Pistons in Milwaukee.

BREAKING: Milwaukee's Middleton Out for Season

The Milwaukee Bucks announced today that starting guard Khris Middleton is out for the season with a stress fracture in his lower leg. This is a huge blow to the Bucks, as Middleton is one of the best outside shooters in the league. It is expected that rookie Rayshaud Hill will step into the starting rotation for Middleton. The 25-year-old guard out of Texas A&M averaged 14.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in 40 games this season.

Bucks Look to Snap Losing Streak in Los Angeles

The Bucks were off to a 6-2 start coming out of the All-Star Break, then they lost sharpshooting Khris Middleton. Since then, Milwaukee has lost three straight against Boston, Memphis, and Sacramento. Tonight, they get to face the team with the worst record in the league, the Los Angeles Lakers. We'll see if the young Bucks can get back on track.

2017 Playoffs Round 1 Preview: 3Milwaukee Bucks vs. 6Boston Celtics

Last year, the fortunes of three teams: Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Boston, changed for the foreseeable future. Atlanta hopped into rebuilding mode, Milwaukee added a veteran to mold young guys around, and Boston jumpstarted its rebuild by swapping picks for players. This year, we see the fruits of this trade as Boston and Milwaukee face off in the playoffs.
