BREAKING NEWS out of Philadelphia as 76ers GM Sam Hinkie steps down. This happened after growing frustration from the front office for the past few weeks because the lack progress Hinkie has made improving the 76ers in the past few seasons. Joel Embiid has yet to play a game and when he finally does they'll have a 3 Man logjam at center. Though Hinkie has brought in some valuable pieces the Sixers ownership felt that he is not the guy to put it all together and will move on. The Sixers are at rock bottom and there's no where to go but up...

It finally happened. The 76ers after years of "tanking" have finally won the lottery and now they think they have their guy that could make them contenders in the future.

BREAKING NEWS

Reports out of Philadelphia today claim that the 76ers have fired GM Bryan Colangelo. This comes a day after Colangelo traded Nerlens Noel to Dallas for Andrew Bogut, Justin Anderson and a 2017 1st round pick (protected 1-18 that will become two 2 no round picks in pick is 1-18). Fans were outraged as it seems very unlikely that Dallas' pick will fall out of the top 18. This is also after weeks of lying to the fans about injuries to their two young promising players Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. They told fans that Embiid's injury was a minor bone bruise and he would miss a few games and weeks later it comes out he actually has a minor meniscus tear. More recently it was reported that Ben Simmons will mis the entire season after his most recent CT scan came back showing his foot not properly healed after they told fans months ago that it was fully healed. After much backlash from the fans ownership had enough. They're reported to have former GM and President of Basketball Operations Sam Hinkie return to the team and retake his role in the organization.

Sixers head coach Brett Brown spoke today about Simmons injury. "I believe we'll see Ben out there by the end of the season".
